Fifty-four years ago, Bertha Reppert of the Rosemary House in Mechanicsburg and PCGC President from 1965-1967, organized an Herb Tea to be held during a Penn-Cumberland Garden Club (PCGC) Spring Meeting. This year, Patricia Stull, a local artist, will present a program titled “A Cottage Garden Herb Tea”. She will discuss how the flowers in her garden inspire her paintings. A collection of her paintings will be on display.
The Tea will be held on Monday, May 21, at the Camp Hill Borough Hall, 2145 Walnut Street, Camp Hill at 10 a.m. A short business meeting will precede the Tea. The menu will include recipes with an emphasis on herbs.
The meeting is open to the Public. A donation of $10 is requested for the Tea. Please bring your favorite teacup. All guests must pre-register by contacting Fern Orman, at 717-737-3512 or email@example.com. For more information vist www.penncumberlandgarden.org or Penn Cumberland Garden Club’s Facebook page.
