Penn-Cumberland Garden Club Held a Herb Tea

Fifty-four years ago, Bertha Reppert of the Rosemary House in Mechanicsburg and PCGC President from 1965-1967, organized an Herb Tea to be held during a Penn-Cumberland Garden Club (PCGC) Spring Meeting. This year, Marcella Paraskevas-Ramirez from New Jersey spoke about herbs for people and pets.  Marcella is a holistic practitioner and educator for humans and animals.  She is a Clinical Herbalist, Certified Advanced Aromatherapist Bach Flower Practitioner and is a Natural Food Chef and instructor.

The Tea was held on Monday, May 20, at the Camp Hill Borough Hall, 2145 WaMalnut Street, Camp Hill at 10 a.m. A short business meeting preceded the Tea. The menu included recipes with an emphasis on herbs.

Penn-Cumberland Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania District IV, the Central Atlantic Region N.S.C.G.C. and the National Garden Club, Inc.
